Sustainability

Hiring is the most sustainable decision you can make on set.

Every costume you hire instead of buy keeps a garment in active use, avoids manufacturing impact, and ensures it has a life beyond your production. That's not a marketing line — it's just how hire works.

Who we are

Independently owned.
Genuinely invested.

No corporate supply chain. No distant warehouse logistics. We're a small team in Salford with a direct relationship to every garment we hold — and every production we work with. Lower miles, lower waste, and people who actually care about your shoot.

Circular by design

Every costume in our collection is hired, cleaned, and hired again. Nothing sits in a skip. When a garment reaches the end of its hire life, it's donated — not discarded. This is a closed loop, and hire makes it work.

Post-shoot rehoming

Working with productions on what happens to excess costume after wrap. Items that don't return to stock are matched with relevant charities and community theatre groups across the North West.

No fast fashion on set

Every item you hire from us already exists. No new garment was manufactured for your production. In an industry under increasing pressure to reduce its footprint, that's a meaningful difference.

Albert-aligned approach

As albert certification becomes standard across streamer and broadcaster productions, choosing a hire house that supports sustainable practice is part of meeting those requirements. We're happy to help with that conversation and provide documentation to support your certification process.

Vintage & pre-loved stock

Our 50,000-piece collection is built on genuine vintage clothing, not reproductions. Hiring pre-existing garments means your production's costume budget directly supports the circular economy.

Let's talk sustainable production.

Whether you need to meet albert requirements or just want to make better choices on set — we're a good place to start.
